This lot pairs two Wolfgang's matchbooks, each carrying a fan's handwritten note tying it to a Jerry Garcia and John Kahn appearance (one dated 8/28/1984); Kahn was Garcia's closest musical foil for two decades, the bassist at his side through nearly every side project. This single lot gathers the collection's entire Garcia Memorial Stamp Project in one sweep: Montserrat's 1995 and 1996 issues alongside a 1995 Tanzania commemorative — headlined by a complete, uncut 30-stamp "Dancing Bear" sheet and rounded out with hand-numbered six-stamp sets, individual singles, and coveted first-day-postmarked examples, each accompanied by its Certificate of Authenticity.
