A striking piece of the Grateful Dead's touring infrastructure, this red production trunk was built and used by Robbie Taylor — the band's trusted production manager throughout much of the 1980s and 1990s — during the 1990 touring season. Constructed from heavy-duty road case materials with spring loaded clips, the trunk was used to store and transport extra packing blankets used to protect equipment between shows.
