Inspired by Audre Lorde's famous quote that "women are powerful and dangerous”, the artist wanted to show women in what she imagines is a peaceful scenario living their dangerously curious lives.Abi Mustapha is a Sierra Leonean/American Contemporary Artist whose work can be found in galleries and museums across the Midwest and Bay Area, including the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History, Garret Museum of Art, The Richmond Art Center, and Joyce Gordon Gallery.&nbsp;Generously Donated by The Artist

Abi Mustapha, Dangerous Woman, 2025

She holds an MFA from Columbia University and a BA from UC Santa Cruz.&nbsp;She is the 2010/2011 recipient of the Rydell Visual Arts Fellowship.
